HOLMES INSTITUTE TRANSFER OF CREDITS POLICY
Holmes Institute® curriculum is specifically designed for in-depth study and preparation in spiritual leadership. Consideration for transfer credit for courses taken within the previous 10 years will be given. During the first year of study only, a student may submit requests to transfer a maximum of 4 classes based upon equivalent graduate level study. Requests must include transcripts, syllabi or other supporting documents of previous study. These decisions are at the sole discretion of the President of Holmes Institute.
If the student is not satisfied with the decision, he/she may appeal the decision in writing to the President within 5 working days. The President of Holmes Institute shall review the appeal within 30 days and notify the student in writing. A copy of this letter will be placed in the student’s file.
Transfer credits (if earned in the United States) may be accepted from institutions accredited by agencies recognized by the U. S. Secretary of Education and/or the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Credit taken at Holmes Institute® is program specific, and is not automatically transferable to another institution. Acceptance of credits is determined by the receiving institution.
